2005 Harley Davidson Deluxe. The “Raven”

This bike is a 2005 Harley Davidson Deluxe. Alex, the owner we met at The Colorado Motorcycle show and Swap, has a cool idea for her bike she lovingly calls “Velvet”. She is a fan of The Raven by Edgar Alan Poe and she wants her bike to reflect that poem. So in it goes for paint and a few other mods, new headlight, tires, polished forks and polished rotors. We started off with disassembly then to removing all the excess trim form the fenders. A little welding, a little filler then off to primer. The basecoat is a light blue pearl with blue black candy faded up the sides and...

Swampy Chopper

Arnold came to us with some great ideas. Being he is from Louisiana, he wants his chopper to have the bayou feel. So we set out a plan to make his custom motorcycle look like an alligator rising out of the swamp. One of the unique aspects of Arnold’s chopper is that he built it himself in his basement and machined or tig welded some cool parts. I ran with this, and painted several pieces on his bike to look like raw metal with heat signature at the joints, very cool. This is how Arnolds bike looked when I walked down into his basement. Pretty cool to build a chopper in your...

Gary Morrows’ 1969 Camaro Groundpounder

Gary is a past customer of True Kustom. He brought us his 69 Camaro to give a face lift. So off we go, racked up, stripped down, molded, straightened, aligned and painted. First day in. At this point we are giving the car and official “discovery” to find what really needs fixed. Not to bad except the last time it had body and paint it was done by a hack. Oh well… Thats what we are here for, Make it right. The roof and pillars were a mess, as you can see the rust on the roof was under the paint. At some time the rear quarter panels have been replaced. Although not a horrible...
